This particular model is for carpet, it has what they call anchor points (spikes) on the back, so definitely not for hard floors. Every so often then tile needs to be pulled back into position, which takes seconds. Those clear plastic ones with spikes under them are good, they don't move and easy to glide on, plus no color clashing. All attempts at negotiation have failed, will not accept that it is cracked (and NOT crazed) due to chemicals in the carpet (carpet laid 2 years before mat), no cleaners/solvents/anything ever placed on the carpet or mat.
